Syracuse, N.Y. – Today Bankers Healthcare Group (BHG), a source of innovative financial solutions and creator of one of the largest community bank loan and product networks in the country, has announced its inclusion in Fortune Magazine’s Best Workplaces for Women. This is the first time BHG has made the list, ranking in at no. 21. The announcement comes a month after BHG’s placement at no. 11 on Fortune’s Best Workplaces for Millennials.
“BHG’s insistence to listen and learn from a diverse set of voices is one of the strongest reasons we have been able to thrive over the past twenty years,” said Al Crawford, Co-Founder and CEO of BHG. “Our inclusive culture can be seen firsthand through the many talented women who hold leadership positions within our company. Not only does BHG cater to the needs of women in the workplace through a flexible remote work environment and competitive salaries, but we also work diligently to provide personalized opportunities that ensure women have a seat at the table, and a clear path to achieve personal and professional goals.”
Fortune reported that gender equity is a key value point for many millennials in the workplace, and BHG’s focus on professional development can be credited for its high gender equity. While BHG prioritizes all employee growth and celebrates milestones, the company embraces a flexible approach that favors individual contributions over set promotion timelines. Also, after a year of working from home, BHG continues to give employees the option to work remotely and provides new employees with a home-office stipend. So far in 2021, BHG has ranked no 11. Best Workplace for Millennials, no. 5 Best Workplace in Financial Services and no. 4 Best Workplace in New York State.
