Albert Crawford is Co-founder, Chairman, and Chief Executive of BHG Financial, a leading national provider of financial services to professionals, individuals, and small- to medium-sized financial institutions.  

Under his leadership, the company has thrived, becoming a successful lender of more than $19 billion in loan solutions to top-quality borrowers and facilitating the creation of one of the largest community bank networks in the country. With over 1,600 members, BHG Financial’s Institutional Network supports financial institutions nationwide by offering premium services that help with asset growth and regulatory needs.  

From new products and markets to the company’s winning culture, Mr. Crawford has led BHG Financial to receive over 25 accolades and awards since its inception. His personal highlights include being chosen as one of the elite 10 selected for the Inc. magazine CEO Project and being named an Ernst & Young Entrepreneur of the Year for Financial Services.

Eric Castro is a co-founder of BHG Financial. 

A central figure within BHG, he has taken on various organizational roles throughout his tenure, including senior credit officer and chief operating officer, adjusting to fulfill any position in the company's best interest. 

During BHG's record growth, he refocused his attention on fortifying the company internally as it continued evolving and scaling.

Drawing from his experience in the U.S. Marine Corps, his insight and execution strategy on leadership and culture have been essential to developing an ecosystem that has defined and reinforced the company from the ground up. It has led to repeated national recognition, including being honored by Great Place to Work in various categories for multiple years.

Mr. Castro has been instrumental in launching BHG LEAD, a program designed to develop level four leaders and give them the foundation, skills, and ability to be more effective. 

He was accepted into the Forbes Business Council in 2020 and has received the Ernst & Young Entrepreneurs of the Year Award for financial services.

Harold Carpenter

Harold Carpenter serves as Chief Financial Officer and as a member of Pinnacle's senior leadership team since 2000. As such, Harold oversees all of Pinnacle's financial operations, including strategic planning, financial forecasting, treasury, accounting, tax, investor relations and capital markets activities, including several follow-on equity offerings, numerous debt issuances and numerous mergers since 2006.

Harold was previously Lead Financial Manager for First American Corporation's Tennessee, Mississippi and Louisiana operations prior to its merger with AmSouth Bancorporation in 2000. First American was a $25B financial institution predominantly located in TN but with operations in several Southeastern US states. Harold joined First American in 1998 during its merger with Jackson, Miss.-based Deposit Guaranty Corporation, where he had served for four years as chief financial manager of the company's business units. His previous experience includes serving as controller for Commerce National Corporation in Shreveport, LA which was acquired by Deposit Guaranty and KPMG Peat Marwick as senior manager from 1982 through 1994.

Harold obtained a Bachelor's degree and a Master's of Business Administration in Accounting from Louisiana Tech University in 1982. He is a member of the AICPA and FEI. He has served on the board of the Nashville Chapter of the American Red Cross and the Tennessee Business Roundtable. He was a member of the 2015 class of Leadership Nashville and a 2017 class member of Leadership Tennessee.

Jim Crawford is a Board Member and Executive Vice President of Institutional Sales at BHG Financial.

Mr. Crawford provides the board with business insight from over 35 years of industry experience. He helps advise the company in matters that ensure profitable and healthy operations. 

As EVP of Institutional Sales, Mr. Crawford is responsible for hundreds of relationships between BHG and financial institutions nationwide. A driving force in positioning the company as the premier source of top-performing loans, he works closely with marketing, sales, credit, and pricing for BHG's loan portfolio.

Mr. Crawford has a wealth of experience in government securities and the mortgage industry, including finance and lending, first getting into the sector selling treasury and corporate bonds, then transitioning into retirement accounts. Before joining BHG, he was the sole owner and president of a successful title and mortgage company.

Mr. Crawford holds a bachelor's degree in math and economics from Muskegon University.
