An 8821 is an IRS form that summarizes your tax history. It allows BHG Financial to confirm your income based on what you filed.
Most people applying for a personal loan will not need an 8821—it depends on your income source and cash flow. This form is typically required more often for business loans.

An Employer Identification Number (EIN) is a federal tax ID number for businesses. BHG Financial requires an EIN for existing businesses applying for a loan.
Individuals who are professionally licensed are required to provide license information during the BHG Financial application process.
For non-licensed professionals, a license is not required to get a BHG Financial loan.
After applying
Once you submit all your documents, an approval decision will be provided in as little as 24 hours.1
Once your terms are agreed upon, funds will be available in as few as 5 days for a personal loan and as few as 3 days for a business loan.1
You will receive your funds through a wire transfer, ACH transaction, or by check, depending on your loan terms.

There are different reasons a loan application might be denied, such as credit score or debt-to-income ratio. If your application is declined, BHG Financial will provide you with the exact reasons why in a letter sent to your mailing address within 30 days of the decision.
Yes! Credit profiles are always evolving. You are welcome to apply again after you receive a decline. And, since BHG Financial closely monitors qualification data, we may reach out to you with an invitation to reapply.
